Pretty well everything about the earlier j3 model has been re-worked for version 8.

Biggest job was crafting the 3D cockpit to include interior detail not possible in earlier versions. The panel is also in 3D, but so far the panels are eye candy only, and can't be accessed by the user, though the gauges are updated as usual and controls can be actuated from the keyboard. The download includes an abreviated key map for users not used to this form of control access.

Brand new for this release is a float version. The floats are amphibs which, as far as I know, never appeared on a j3, but I've seen a pair on a Kitfox, which is even smaller and more underpowered than a cub, so let's pretend, for the sake of x-plane, which objects violently to a plane without wheels when you start up on the runway!
