This Cessna 140 is a complete re-build from the ground up. With over a thousand hours in the real one, I feel qualified to say that it performs very much like it should. |
*Note*
There is a bug in X-plane 762 that wasn't there in 7.61, for which
the plane was originally designed. Users of version 7.62 will
discover that the entire cockpit is missing from the aircraft
when you look at it from the outside. Nothing there but a big,
gaping hole!
What you need to do is launch Plane Maker and load the 140.
Go to the "Standard " menu and select "viewpoint"
(top of the list). Down in the lower right there are four checkboxes
dealing with how X-plane draws the internal and external geometry.
Make sure you have checkbox one (Draw internal geometry in front
views) UNchecked. All the other ones should be checked. This will
restore the cockpit object to view, but unfortunately it also
interferes somewhat with internal side views. The customs views
are seen but also some of the inside structure that shouldn't
be visible. We're trying to get that fixed, but probably nothing
will happen until version 8 comes out.
