Welcome to Peregrine Imagineering, my site for Aircraft designed for X-Plane, the very realistic flight simulation program from Laminar Research.
I have many of my favorite aircraft developed for X-Plane. My focus is on acurately recreating unique and special aircraft, and on making working recreations of fictional aircraft, such as from Science Fiction. I try to build stuff that no one else yet offers.
If there is ever a design in development on my site that you are looking forward to, or you have tips, questions or suggestions pertaining to planes that you're already flying, please and share your thoughts.

Ames-Dryden AD-1 Oblique Wing Research Aircraft

Designed to investigate the concept of an oblique (pivoting) wing. The wing could be rotated on its center pivot, so that it could be set at its most efficient angle for the speed at which the aircraft was flying.

Flew a total of 79 flights between 1979 and 1982.

Limited to 170 mph for safety concerns, but in X-Plane, you can push the envelope.

Light-weight composite-material kitplane, seating 7, powered by a little 650hp Russian-built turbo-prop. (It's a big prop... be careful when landing.)

Lear Fan 2100

High-efficiency Corporate PropJet Prototype (1 of 3) first flew in 1981, using all composite materials for exceptionally low weight and two turbine engines to drive the prop. Since I didn't know a good way to simulate this in X-plane, I've made my one major deviation from the real design: twin counter-rotating props. (This also does away with any torque effects.)

XP5 version interiors are borrowed from a Learjet 31 model. XP6 custom panel is still in works.

Rockwell/MBB X-31 Enhanced Fighter Manueverablity Demonstrator

Designed to investigate controlled flight in the post-stall region of Angles of Attack up to 70 degrees.

Flew a record total of 580 flights during the research program.

Sikorsky H-60 Blackhawk series

Premiere medium-lift utility helicopter. This package includes several variants. There's a base UH-60L Blackhawk. There's an L with the ESSS system for external stores. There's are L's with 2 and 4 tanks ESSS systems for longer range. There's a UH-60Q Dustoff, which is Medevac with 2 external tanks. And there are MH-60K special ops variants, with and without the ESSS system.
